He has spent 5 years in digital marketing out of his total career spanning 9 years across Telecom, Media and BFSI verticals.
His love with the medium started sourcing NRE account at IDBI Bank as a marketer, he then moved to ICICI bank and conceptualised the roadmap for sourcing leads from the internet and a fulfilment mechanism for it, this then became an alternate channel in the subsequent years.
He then moved on to set up the web sales business for Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and was successful in creating a viable business model which could compete in ROI with conventional channels of distribution and was scalable. Moreover it contributed upto 5% of the direct marketing business.
Most of his learning's in the online medium have happened working with partners like comunicate2 and to move up the curve he joined communicate 2
He now consults clients in the BFSI space on cost of sale based advertising using SEM and creating a scalable and a viable business model.
On innovations in the Web 2.0 space he believes that its growth is dependent on user assisting user applications. |
